Twiddl shows a single labeled sponsored line in your AI coding assistant's spinner and statusline while it works, and shares ad revenue with you. By installing the extension or using twiddl.ai, you agree to these terms.

Earnings

You earn a 50% share of the ad spend attributed to views and clicks on your device, credited only during live coding sessions and subject to server-side limits that prevent abuse. Balances are paid out in batches (currently weekly) above a small minimum. Earnings obtained through automation, fake sessions, multiple accounts, or any other manipulation are void and the related accounts may be closed.

Launching ads

Anyone can place a one-line ad in the queue, paid by card or from an earned balance. Ad text and destination URLs must be lawful, non-deceptive, and free of malware, phishing, command-style instructions, or adult content. We screen submissions and may reject or remove any ad at our discretion, refunding the undelivered portion. Views are billed as delivered; a click is billed as 50 views. Campaigns you fund are never shown to your own devices and never earn you your own money back.

Your tools and data

The extension never reads your code, prompts, or AI conversations. It writes only the two documented customization settings it needs and restores them when you disable it. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party tools

Twiddl is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, Microsoft, or any editor or AI vendor whose tools it works alongside. Their trademarks belong to them.

No warranty; limits

Twiddl is provided as-is. Ad availability, earning rates, and payout timing can change. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount in your unpaid balance. We may modify or discontinue the service; if we do, earned balances above the payout minimum will be honored.
